This is truly becoming an international affair. Some people don’t understand the lyrics but still listen to their music. However, the true force of this band lies in the words. This man is truly a poet. Now some of you might not know about this band since they sing in French, but this is their 4th effort and the expectations have never been that high for them. They went and recorded this album in Paris. For those who don’t know: this is perfectly knitted rock&roll music with influences like Radiohead and Coldplay. For those who do know: this album isn’t as ‘hooky’ as the last two, and it’s not as risky as ‘Les tremblements s’immobilisent’ was. They now know their strengths and they don’t hesitate to capitalize. The lyrics are a little easier to understand than they were on their last album, and the music is simply perfect. While it’s not as hot as the last one, it’s still one of the best French Canadian bands out there.
